Yuxi Weekend

Hey,

Just to keep you all updated. This weekend Piers and I are going to meet Rebekka and her partner Rebecca (we think GAP got lasy and paired them on name basis rather than a personality match), also the two guys from Kunming, Evan and Daniel, in Yuxi. Sorry that was a really long sentance. Anyway, we'll all be staying in the same hotel, just like Beijing, although this one is not four stars haha. Yuxi is much larger than Eshan, and we here there is a very famous pizza resterant there run by an American guy, which all the past GAPpers in this area have talked about. Piers and I were considering staying in one of the top of the range hotels for the weekend, because if you convert it to australian dollars you're paying like $80 for a weekend in a 4 star hotel. However, we'd rather stay in the same hotel as everyone else.

Anyway, we've not been up to much else. Just started our second round of classes, my 2nd lesson plan is going really well. I go through this conversation things with them, then play 'English Whispers' (basically Chinese Whispers), then show them some pictures from home.

I'll post again after this weekend, and I'm sure I'll have some exciting adventures to tell you (and possibly some pictures!).
